Graduation Ceremony, the class of 2017

The University of Kurdistan Hewlêr celebrated its seventh commencement ceremony on Wednesday November 1 at Sa’ad Abdullah Hall. In his opening remarks, the Vice Chancellor Dr. Mohammed Mochtar welcomed the graduates and their families, and celebrated with graduates of the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr their achievements. In his remarks, Dr. Mochtar emphasized the uniqueness of UKH and the quality of education it offers its students. The Vice Chancellor stated that “Your graduation ceremony may feel like the last step in your UKH journey, but your connection with the University will last a life time. We welcome you warmly to our alumni community and look forward to seeing you here often”.

More than eight hundred people including guests were present at the commencement. Mr. Safeen Dizeyi was the guest of honor and spoke on behalf of HE Mr. Nechirvan Barzani the Chancellor of the university who granted the top Students a special award plus awards that were given to them by the Vice Chancellor.  In his address to the students, Mr. Dizeyi recognized the role of UKH in preparing the future leaders of Kurdistan in accordance with the Chancellor’s vision. He expressed HE the Chancellor’s confidence that armed with the quality education that the graduates obtained from UKH, they will be able to face life’s challenges and contribute positively to the development of their country. University of Kurdistan Hewlêr wishes all the graduates a life fulfilled with joy and happiness.
