Professor Dr. Dana Mawlood, Vice President (Administration) at the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH) has successfully completed the Institute for Educational Management (IEM) programme at Harvard University’s Joh F. Kennedy School.
Prof. Mawlood recently joined this prestigious programme along with 73 other university presidents from different countries.
This achievement is significant especially because Prof. Mawlood is the first professor in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq to join the IEM programme, which is a major international programme of leadership and institutional development.
Prof. Mawlood joined UKH in early 2023 as Vice President for Administration. Prior to that, he served as a member of UKH’s Governing Board for three years.
He is a distinguished professor of water and environmental engineering with numerous publications. He also possesses extensive experience in the oil and gas industry inside and outside Iraq.
