On Friday 4 October 2024, senior students of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Kurdistan Hewler (UKH) headed to Austria today to complete their studies at Montanuniversität Leoben.
This is the second group of UKH petroleum students to spend a semester in Austria within our exhcnage programme with Montan University of Leoben, signed in 2023.
It is worth mentioning that Montan University of Leoben is among the top 8.2% universities in the world, renown for its advanced energy studies.
This exchange programme is one of the recent attempts of UKH to further internationalize the university and help students gain extensive international experience beside their studies in the university.
