On October 3, 2024, the School of Management and Economics (SME) at the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH) organised a Coursework Completion Certificate and Merit Certificate Distribution Ceremony for the first batch of the doctoral programmes.
The event brought together faculty, students, and families to honor the achievements of those who have successfully navigated the rigorous demands of their doctoral studies. The ceremony featured a welcoming speech of the Dean of SME Dr. Taimur Sharif, followed by inspiring speeches from the distinguished guests, highlighting the significance of academic perseverance and innovation.
Abdulhadi Salahaddin delivered a thanksgiving note on behalf of the class and shared their unique learning experiences in the form of weekend block delivery by the international faculty, technology-enhanced learning (TEL) including virtual reality platform.
UKH Vice President for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Christopher Bridle and Dean of Research & External Engagement Dr. Bayar Mustafa attended the event and both delivered remarks expressing their happiness in the developments of the DBA/PhD programmes as well as research, which is a core UKH value to deliver academic excellence.
