UKH Medical Lecturer’s Contribution to Rheumatology Field at ACR Convergence 2024

Dr. Avin Maroof, lecturer at UKH School of Medicine has recently traveled to Washington DC to participate in the prestigious ACR Convergence 2024. Dr. Maroof is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology (FACR) and has significant contributions to the field of rheumatology at the convergence, attracts the world’s foremost experts in rheumatology to discuss cutting-edge research and advancements.

Dr. Maroof, presented three research papers at this esteemed gathering, all accepted for publication in the ACR journal. These research papers are part of a large collaborative project with 16 centers in 8 countries, working with the ARCH-ArLAR research group, aiming to create a new referral system to reduce delays in diagnosis for rheumatic diseases, improving patient care and reducing healthcare costs.
