Avin Maroof is a senior specialist in Rheumatology and Medical Rehabilitation, Academic, researcher and clinician. holding academic roles, functioning as a faculty member and Chair of Continuous Academic Development, as well as Co-Coordinator of the Internal Medicine Division at the School of Medicine, University of Kurdistan Hawler. Beside 12 years academic experience, Dr. Avin is a clinician practicing as Rheumatologist in both Rizgary teaching hospital and private clinic. Dr. Avin is Fellow of American College of Rheumatology since 2018.

Currently working on several ongoing multicentric international collaborative study projects.
