The Consul General of the United Kingdom (UK) in Erbil Rosy Cave visited the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH) on 13th March 2023.
Ms. Cave was warmly received by UKH President Professor Keith Sharp and Dr. Bayar Mustafa, Dean of External Engagement and Research.
UKH President highlighted to the Consul General UKH’s outreach to foreign universities, student exchange programmes and collaboration with other local and international institutions. He also shed light on UKH’s outstanding alumni employment rates.
The president also elaborated UKH’s fast growing centres, especially the Professional and Executive Education Centre (PEEC).
The Consul General expressed her happiness for visiting UKH for the first time and said that she will visit more frequently to learn more about UKH and to facilitate any existing collaboration initiatives between UKH and British universities.
The Consul General later on delivered an interactive session with Mr. Falah Mustafa, Senior Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of the Kurdistan Region, to UKH students of Diplomacy and International Law.
