On Thursday, 30 October 2025, the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH) proudly celebrated the Graduation Ceremony of the Class of 2025.
A total of 526 graduates from undergraduate and postgraduate programmes gathered with their families and friends for an evening filled with pride, joy, and celebration.
The ceremony was attended by H.E. Nechirvan Barzani, Founder of UKH and President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, along with ministers, diplomats, and other distinguished guests.
Speeches were delivered by H.E. Nechirvan Barzani, UKH Interim President Dr. Zana Ibrahim and Chair of the Governing Board Mr. Marshall Billingslea, who congratulated the graduates and highlighted UKH’s role as one of the leading universities in the region.
Outstanding students from each programme received the Academic Excellence Award, presented by their School Deans and the UKH President.
