The University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH) has signed an agreement with the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) to launch an innovative international masters programme (MA) in Leadership and Ethics. The programme will be delivered in a three-way partnership between UKH, the University of Sulaymaniyah, and the NKUA.

The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens was founded in 1837 and today is one of the largest and most prestigious universities in Europe with more than 68,000 students.

UKH President, Keith Sharp, said of the partnership: “We are delighted to sign this agreement with one of Europe’s leading universities. Not only does this launch the new MA in Leadership and Ethics which will allow students from Kurdistan to spend nine months in Athens, but opens the door for developing many other areas of collaboration with NKUA.”
