The University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH)’s School of Science and Engineering (SSE)hosted a workshop for the water management project stakeholders on 11 May 2022. UKH has previously won two research grants from IHE-Delft in water harvesting and management and this workshop is to give a brief introduction on the project background before and after winning the awards, main upcoming and remaining stages of the project as well as highlighting the significance of the proposed agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources (MAWR-KRG).
Dr. Soorkeu Atrooshi, Dean of SSE delivered a brief presentation to the attendees; Director General of Water and Dams, Technical Director and Chief Engineer of Water and Dams Unit, Representative from MAWR-KRG as well as Chair of Water Resources Engineering Department at the Salahaddin University-Erbil.
