UKH School of Management and Economics (SME) welcomed the first cohort of the PhD programme and Iraq’s first ever DBA programme through an Induction Event on 2 May 2024.
The doctoral programmes comprise of a 60-credit modular coursework and a 300-credit Dissertation. The coursework will be block delivered in the weekends during Semester 1 by an international pool of Visiting Professors from Cranfield University (UK), Leeds University (UK), Strathclyde University (UK), the University of Lincoln (UK, Crandall University (Canada), and Lebanese American University (LB) over twelve weeks. The assessments will be carried out by an experienced team of inhouse resource persons having strong research profiles. Students will progress to the Dissertation stage based on a successful completion of the coursework including a formal defense of a full-fledged research proposal (following Module 6). The Dissertation will be supervised by a combination of subject experts from the UKH and universities across the globe, the UK in particular.
