The Artificial Intelligence and Innovation Centre at the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH) has recently received two Advance HE Global Impact Grant Awards through the prestigious Advance HE Global Impact Grants scheme.
The grants were awarded based on two innovative projects submitted by AIIC team: “Empowering Neurodiverse Learners” by Mr. Yassin Hussein Rassul, a Research Assistant at the Artificial Intelligence and Innovation Centre. The second project, titled “Reimagining Assessment” was by Mr. Hussein Muhammed Ali, a Data Engineer / Research Assistant at the Artificial Intelligence and Innovation Centre.
These awards highlight UKH’s ongoing commitment to inclusive, learner-centred education and reaffirm its role as a regional leader in future-ready teaching. The grants will further enable the university to share its practices and insights across Kurdistan and internationally.
