Yassin Hussein Rassul

Introduction

Yassin Rassul is a Research Assistant at the Artificial Intelligence and Innovation Centre (AIIC) at the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH). He is currently pursuing an MS in Software Engineering at UKH (2024–2026), having previously earned his BS in Software Engineering from Salahaddin University (2019–2023). His research interests encompass Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Software Development, with a focus on Computer Vision (CV) and Natural Language Processing (NLP).

Prior to joining AIIC, he gained valuable industry experience in full-stack development, contributing to various mobile and web solutions at multiple organizations. In addition to his development background, he has been involved in AI research, co-authoring papers on advanced clustering techniques for speech signal enhancement and offline handwritten text recognition. Through this blend of practical software engineering and academic research, he is dedicated to fostering innovation and driving technological advancements within both academia and industry.
