The University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH) held the inaugural meeting of its Industry Advisory Board, bringing together employers, company owners, representatives of organisations, industry experts, and academic staff.
The meeting introduced the Board’s framework and objectives, providing a platform for dialogue between the University and key stakeholders from a range of sectors. Discussions focused on graduate employability, labour market needs, and strengthening collaboration between academia and industry.
The Industry Advisory Board aims to provide guidance on the development and introduction of academic programmes that respond to current and future market demands in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq. Through this initiative, UKH seeks to enhance graduate employability, address skills gaps, support students in accessing career opportunities, and contribute to the economic development of the Kurdistan Region across a range of professional and industrial sectors.
