Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq – 20 April 2026
Students from the School of Management and Economics at the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr took part in an educational visit to BrightCastle Motors as part of an experiential learning initiative designed to connect classroom theory with real-world business practice in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
During the visit, students were introduced to the company’s operations, management structures, and day-to-day business processes, gaining first-hand insight into how concepts studied in lectures are applied within a professional environment. The experience provided an opportunity for students to engage directly with industry professionals, ask questions, and deepen their understanding of key areas such as marketing, operations, and organisational management.
The visit was organised in coordination with the University’s Outreach Club, reflecting UKH’s ongoing commitment to fostering practical learning opportunities and strengthening links between academia and industry. Such initiatives aim to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and perspectives needed to succeed in an increasingly competitive job market.
