The Research, Grants, and Ethics Unit at the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH) organised a specialised workshop focused on academic publication and research dissemination, bringing together faculty members and researchers to enhance their scholarly impact.
The session addressed key strategies for publishing in high-impact academic journals, offering practical guidance on improving manuscript quality, navigating the peer-review process, and selecting appropriate publication outlets. In addition, the workshop explored effective approaches to disseminating research findings beyond academia, emphasising the importance of engaging wider audiences, including industry, policymakers, and the public.
This initiative reflects UKH’s ongoing commitment to strengthening research excellence and supporting its academic community in achieving greater visibility and influence at both regional and international levels.
