On Monday 15th January 2024, UKH’s acting dean of the School of Science and Engineering Prof. Dr. Tarik A. Rashid was awarded by the KRG Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for being recognised as 2% of the World’s Most Influential Scientists for 2023 by Stanford University.
The Stanford University criteria encompasses 44 rigorous benchmarks, which were met by Prof. Tarik in the fields of artificial intelligence, algorithms and optimization.
