On August 24 2023, UKH Acting Dean of the School of Science and Engineering Professor Dr. Tarik A. Rashid received the status of Principal Fellow (PFHEA) from the AdvanceHE Academy, the UK’s professional body for university teachers. Dr. Tarik achieved this status In recognition of his attainment against the UK Professional Standards Framework for teaching and learning support in higher education.
UKH became an AdvanceHE member institution in October 2022 as part of its mission to create the best student academic experience through the international professional standards of its staff. Other UKH academic staff are currently engaged in training by higher education experts from AdvanceHE to standardise best teaching approaches in their respective fields.
