The University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH) was pleased to accept the invitation from the Consulate of the Republic of Korea in Erbil, led by Consul General Seungcheol Lim, to participate in an AI Brainstorming Session on 4 November 2025.
The UKH delegation included Professor Dr. Tarik A. Rashid, Director of the Artificial Intelligence and Innovation Centre (AIIC) at UKH; Dr. Polla Abdulhamid, Lecturer at UKH; and Ms. Noor Jassim, Public Relations and External Engagement Manager.
During the session, Professor Dr. Rashid delivered a presentation highlighting the innovative work and achievements of the AIIC, UKH’s pioneering hub at the forefront of research, development and innovation in artificial intelligence across a wide range of domains.
The session provided an excellent platform for exchanging ideas, fostering dialogue, and strengthening collaborations between academia and industry, with the shared aim of advancing artificial intelligence and promoting innovation.
