Assistant Prof. Dr. Bootan Rahman was invited to give a keynote speech at the 15th International Scientific Conference hosted by the Iraqi Mathematical Society in collaboration with the University of Zakho in Zakho, Kurdistan Region, Iraq.
His talk, “The Language of the Universe: How Mathematics Connects Us All,” highlighted the fundamental role of mathematics in shaping our understanding of the world and its power to bridge diverse disciplines.
The conference, held under the theme “Integration Between Mathematics and Science: The Key to Scientific and Technological Progress,” brought together leading researchers and academics to explore advancements in Mathematics, Statistics, Computers, and Physics.
Dr. Bootan is specialized in mathematics and has been teaching at UKH’s School of Science and Engineering for years. He earned his PhD in the University of Sussex in 2017 before traveling to Erbil to become an assistant professor at UKH.
