As part of improving the student experience, the President of UKH, Bill Rammell, and the SEED Foundation President and Executive Director, Sherri Kraham Talabani, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to improve the awareness and understanding of students in Psychosocial Support (PSS) awareness.
Starting February 2022, qualified staffs from SEED will structure and guide PSS awareness sessions, with logistics support from UKH. The sessions’ main topics are stress management, mental health, wellbeing, and self-care, and online safety and healthy relationships, which will help increase awareness and inform the students about pathways to help and support.
The ultimate goal of this agreement between UKH and the SEED Foundation is supporting improved mental health services in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
