On Monday 27 January 2025, The Ambassador of the Republic of Philippines to Baghdad Mr. Charlie Manangan visited the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH) and was warmly welcomed by UKH President Prof. Dr. Keith Sharp and Vice President (administration) Prof. Dr. Dana Mawlood.
UKH President and Vice President gave an overview of UKH to Mr. Manangan and the university’s plans to expand in different areas, including international relations. They underscored the importance of collaboration with universities in different parts of the world, to exchange experiences in academia and make the student journey a unique one.
and The Ambassador expressed his happiness for the visit and underlined his support for further cooperation between UKH and Philippines universities.
