The University of Kurdistan Hewler (UKH), in cooperation with the Supreme Youth Council at the Office of the Prime Minister of Iraq is hosting a special training camp for 1000 young persons from allover Iraq.
The trainings and workshops are being held at UKH, where youth from each province of Iraq are attending and receiving intensive lectures from UKH experts, on climate change in Iraq and it’s impacts, and finding ways to combat the immediate effects.
The cooperation was enforced after signing a memorandum of understanding between UKH and the Supreme Youth Council of Iraq. The cooperation includes raising awareness, finding solutions and discussing a national roadmap to combat climate change effects.
