The National Assessment Team (NAT), comprising members from various medical schools across Iraq, visited UKH School of Medicine (SoM) from November 24 to 26, 2024 to evaluate the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) submitted by the school in July 2024. During the visit, the team held detailed discussions with area heads, reviewed the SAR, and toured multiple buildings on the SOM campus as well as hospitals conducting teaching sessions.
Their visit included hospital inspections, infrastructure evaluations, and engaging with students, staff, and graduates. The team also observed clinical examinations and collected feedback, showcasing SOM’s commitment to excellence in medical education and continuous improvement.
