UKH School of Medicine (SOM) proudly hosted a special event themed “Disability is not Inability” on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The event highlighted crucial topics such as improving wellbeing, empowering independence, and redefining possibilities for persons with disabilities. The event underscored our commitment to empowering lives and breaking barriers, showcasing the importance of inclusion and support for all. A key highlight was the panel discussion titled “Disability is not Inability,” featuring distinguished physicians, therapists, and medical professionals, along with students and faculty.
The event was attended by distinguished medical professionals and doctors across the Kurdistan Region, as well as our students and faculty members.
