On Thursday 6 February 2025, the head of the European Union Delegation’s Erbil Liaison Office Radu Butum Visited the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH), where he was warmly welcomed by Dr. Bayar Mustafa, Dean of UKH’s Centre for Peacebuilding and Dialogue (CPD).
Mr. Butum was introduced to CPD and its activities and partnerships. They also discussed the opportunities for potential collaborations between CPD and relevant European organisations.
CPD is a research-oriented established in UKH in 2022. It is a hub for researchers, scholars, various community actors, and stakeholders to address pressing matters related to international, regional, and local peacebuilding issues and practices.
