After 14 successful years at UKH, Dr Heja Sindi, UKH Vice President for Academic Affairs and Research is parting ways with the university on 23 September 2021.
A farewell ceremony was organized for Dr Heja on 22 September in which UKH President Bill Rammell, faculty members and staff joined.
“I would like to express my real thanks to Dr Heja for his immense contribution to UKH in a variety of roles, most recently as acting President during the hugely challenging COVID period. I am grateful for all he has done, and I wish him well in his new work opportunities.” Said Bill Rammell in his opening remarks in the ceremony.
Dr. Heja Sindi thanked UKH staff for their support in the challenging Covid-19 times.
To mark Dr Heja’s contribution and enable him to continue his academic association with UKH, the University intends to award Dr Heja an Emeritus Professorship.
