The Vice President (Administration) of the university of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH), Prof. Dr. Dana Mawlood participated in the International Hybrid AGYA Conference, organised by the Arab-German Young Academy of Sciences and Humanities (AGYA) in the Catholic University – Erbil in December 2024. Prof. Mawlood, who is also the Director of the Centre for Environmental Studies, delivered a keynote speech titled, “Improving Water Quality in Iraq: Climate Change and Its Impact on Water Resources.” The conference provided a platform for meaningful discussions on critical environmental issues and how to address them.
