Introduction
Maha Raoof Hamoudi holding a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering/ Production of Petroleum. She joined the UKH, Erbil, Natural Resources Engineering and Management department / School of Science and Engineering in 2014. Her Academic teaching experience extends to more than 30 years as a lecturer and an assistant professor in the petroleum Engineering Department/ Engineering College / Baghdad University and some other Universities outside Iraq. She is a self-motivated, well organized, and dedicated person and have the ability to be involved in team working with colleagues and also independently. She hopes to pursue developing and transferring my experience and scientific knowledge in petroleum engineering to our young generations to achieve scientific communication and bridge the gap with developed countries. She published many research papers in journals and conferences. Also attended and delivered many training courses, sessions, and workshops both in Iraq and outside. In addition, she worked as SPE faculty advisor and helped the students to attend many petroleum conferences and lectures and participate in international competitions, which broadened their knowledge. Her research interests include oil and gas production optimization, enhanced oil recovery, fluid flow in porous media and in pipes, along with stimulation, artificial lift techniques, petroleum economics and some other scientific aspects. She has many published papers and has authored a book in Arabic concerning the Horizontal Wells Technology. She also taught and supervised many undergraduate and postgraduate theses (MSc. & PhD).
