Introduction
Dr. Jawdat Tashan served as a Professor of Structural Engineering at Metro College of Technology, Toronto, Canada, where he also held the esteemed position of Dean of Academic Affairs. Dr. Tashan’s professorship was awarded in Canada, recognizing his outstanding contributions to the field. He also made significant contributions to the academic community during his tenure at the University of Monash, Australia. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Civil Engineering Programme at UKH.
Beyond academia, Dr. Tashan has amassed vast experience in engineering construction, consultation, and design. He has successfully managed over twenty technical megaprojects, including notable awards for executing project (US$1 Billion) on budget, on time, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
