Farhang Nemati, PhD

Assistant Professor in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering

Introduction

Farhang joined UKH in 2023 as an Assistant Professor at the department of Computer Science and Engineering. He received his PhD in Real-Time Systems from Mälardalen University in Swedn  in 2012, his MSc in Computer Science from Uppsala university in Sweden in 2006, and his BSc in Computer Engineering (Software) from University of Tehran in Iran  in 1998.

After finishing his BSc, Farhang worked as an enterprise software engineer and project manager for around 5 years. After finishing his PhD he worked in different big industries for more than 5 years in Embedded Systems mainly at BMW in Germany, Atlas Copco in Sweden, and ABB Powergrids  (Hitachi Energy) in Sweden. Before joining UKH Farhang was working as an Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) at Örebro University in Sweden for around 8 years.
