Dr. Zana Ibrahim, President of the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH), welcomed H.E. Mr. Tommaso Sansone, the Italian Consul General in Erbil. The meeting was attended by Prof. Christopher Bridle, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Ms. Noor Jasim, Manager of External Engagement and Public Relations.
During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed the importance of strengthening cooperation between UKH and Italian higher education and research institutions. Discussions also focused on advancing academic partnerships, promoting student and faculty mobility, encouraging joint research initiatives, and fostering stronger educational and cultural ties between Italy and the Kurdistan Region.
