The Convocation Day at the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr was successfully held for the year 2026. The event is organised annually with the aim of encouraging and showcasing students’ projects, innovations, and creative ideas.
This year, students presented 44 different projects and innovations from the Schools of Science and Engineering, Management and Economics, Social Sciences, and Medicine. Awards were also presented to the best project from each School in recognition of outstanding creativity and innovation.
The event also featured a variety of activities, including music, singing performances, and cultural activities held under a traditional Kurdish tent, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for students and guests.
At the same time, the Student Innovation Scheme Project was officially announced, aiming to provide financial and logistical support to innovative students, entrepreneurs, and idea holders within the University, while continuing the academic journey established at the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr in line with international standards.
