The University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH) officially inaugurated the Pedagogy and Academic Development Centre on 13 May 2026 in a ceremony attended by the University President, Vice President, and representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The establishment of the Centre marks a significant milestone in UKH’s commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development. The Centre has been created as a strategic academic hub dedicated to enhancing the professional competencies of academic staff through the adoption of contemporary pedagogical approaches and evidence-based teaching practices.

The Centre will provide a platform for training, professional development, and academic support, enabling educators to strengthen their teaching capabilities and respond effectively to the evolving demands of higher education.
