Skills Development
Students are mandated to attend a full-time course of instruction at the dedicated campus of the School of Management and Economics (SME). The suggested textbooks are supplemented by classroom delivery of L&T sessions by the module tutors. However, due to limited availability on a first-come-first-served basis, students required to buy the recommended textbooks themselves.
Each taught module is delivered for 3 hours per week, comprising of lectures, seminars, case study analysis, industry discussions, etc. The seminar classes provide students with the opportunity to discuss and partly work on their assignment, participate in short tests, and ask questions to accomplish the objectives of the seminars. Due to the academic background of students in business and/or cognate subjects, the L&T modules focus heavily on bridging the gaps between classroom learning and real world scenarios. Various experiential L&T approaches, e.g., use of guest speakers from industry, local cases and examples, industry-facing projects, etc. are used accordingly. Also, the L&T approaches align with the deeply-rooted national identity, heritage, values and culture (KRI Vision 2030) while developing the future leaders of the Region
