UKH Centre for Environmental Studies (CES) announces World Earth Day Poster Competition for UKH students as part of the World Earth Day Event to be held at UKH in May 2022.
World Earth Day is a prestigious event that is celebrated annually on April 22nd across 193 countries around the globe. Earth Day highlights society’s concern for the environment and approaches to increasing environmental awareness. The Earth Day 2022 theme is “Invest in Our Planet”.
CES intends to celebrate this event on May 12 due to the holy month of Ramadan. One of the key elements of this event is the poster competition. This competition is open to all students and environmentalists across the country.
Poster Instructions
The poster topic should address the issue of environmental protection, specifically the following subtopics for 2022:
1- Protecting our species
2- Climate change
3- Air pollution control and monitoring
4- Biofuels and renewable energy
5- Wastewater reuse and waste management
o Poster size should be A1 (circa 841 x 594 mm).
