UKH Weekly Seminar Session: Fatigue Performance of Welded Steel Tubular Joints

February 17, 2022
100%

In many engineering structures, such as off-shore platforms, bridges and buildings, structural elements are mainly made of steel tubular members. The tubular members are usually subjected to cyclic loading from traffic, sea waves and wind causing fatigue problem. In this seminar, the fatigue problem in welded steel tubular joints will be explained and methods for fatigue assessment was outlined.
