The University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH) President Dr. Keith Sharp received Georgios Almanos and Dr. Stavros Kyrimis, Greece Ambassador to Iraq and Consul General in Erbil, respectively.
UKH president and Dr. Bayar Mustafa, dean of Research and External Engagement at UKH, discussed with the guests collaboration between UKH and Greek universities, and in particular UKH plans to deliver a joint postgraduate programme in ethics and leadership with the University of Athens.
Additionally, the two sides also discussed collaboration between UKH School of Medicine (SOM) and medical schools in Greece.
The development of student and staff exchange programmes between UKH and universities in Greece was also highlighted during the meeting.
