On the occasion of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2021 and as part of the activities of the IEEE Region 8 entrepreneurship initiative, the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH)’s Creativity and Entrepreneurship Centre (CEC) hosted the two-day KRI start-up innovation challenge 2021. This event is organized in partnership with Expertise France’s YANHAD programme. First day of the event hosted workshops and information sessions for start-ups and innovation businesses. The second day of the event was on November 9th, 2021, where the teams pitched their ideas to a jury committee.
This event is part of a global competition where two of the local selected winners will compete with the other winners from different countries during the IEEE Region 8 students and young professionals congress.
