In partnership with Rwanga Foundation and General Directorate of Labor and Social Security, University of Kurdistan Hewlêr has launched TVET Programme for more than 300 Students in Erbil.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Idris Nechirvan Barzani, Chancellor of the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH) and President and Founder of Rwanga Foundation, alongside government officials, faculty members, and students.
The 45-day programme offers hands-on training in the fields of Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Solar Energy, Cisco Networking, Mobile Phone Repair, Electrical Systems, Car Mechanics, Modern Agriculture, Hydroponics, Sewing and Tailoring, and Hairdressing, equipping young people with the practical skills and technical competencies needed to meet the evolving demands of the labour market in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
