Erbil, Kurdistan Region – 26 October 2026 – The delegation was led by Dr. Zana Ibrahim, President of UKH and included Dr. Teshk Nouri Shawis, Dean of the School of Medicine, Dr. Hussein Ali, Coordinator of the Architectural Engineering and Sustainability Programme and Ms Noor Jasim, Manager of Public Relations and External Engagement.
The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, Assistant President for Academic Affairs at the University of Baghdad, Dr. Hussein Qasim Hussein, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department, Dr. Inas Khalifa Al-Sharqi, Director of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department; and Dr. Harith Mohammed Ibrahim, Head of the Department of Media and Government Communication.
The visit aimed at strengthening institutional ties and exploring opportunities for collaboration across academic schools and programmes, including joint research, supervision, and academic initiatives.
