Evelyn Doman, PhD
Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics/TESOL
Introduction
Dr. Evelyn Doman came to the University of Kurdistan in February, 2024. She is Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics/TESOL. After 30 years of teaching university/graduate school in the Asia-Pacific region and in the K-12 American educational system, Dr. Doman is excited to work with UKH students.

Research
Most of Dr. Doman’s research has focused on technology-enhanced language learning and English teacher training for both pre-service and in-service teachers. She has over 40 publications, including 3 edited books about language acquisition. She has presented widely at TESOL and Applied Linguistics conferences in both the United States and abroad.
