The Artificial Intelligence & Innovation Centre (AIIC) at UKH proudly launched two innovative software solutions the UKH Scheduling Management System and the Face Recognition Attendance System on 14 October 2025 at the American Corner, UKH. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Zana Ibrahim, Interim President / Dean of the School of Social Sciences, and Prof. Christopher Bridle, Vice President (Academic Affairs), who praised the AIIC team for their outstanding work in developing practical, AI-driven tools that enhance efficiency, security, and academic excellence at UKH.
The event also brought together UKH academic and administrative staff, deans of schools, and programme directors, signifying broad institutional support for innovation and digital transformation across the university.
Presentations were delivered by Prof. Dr. Tarik A. Rashid, Mr. Yasin H. Rassul, and Ms. Arwaa W. Abdulkareem, underscoring AIIC’s mission to integrate artificial intelligence into campus services and foster smart, research-based solutions in higher education.
