National and International Accreditation
University of Kurdistan Hewlêr is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Federal Government of Iraq and by the Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC).

International Partnerships, Placement, Internship and Exchange Programmes
To further develop students’ knowledge and competences, UKH offers placement, student exchange, international partnership and internship programmes, complementing the goals of increasing students’ employability.
Research Data Centre
The UKH Research Data Centre (RDC) promotes and encourages students and staff to actively participate in Research and Development. UKH RDC houses state of the art hardware and software tools in storing research data and facilitates comprehensive analysis and visualisation.
Library
The library, established in September 2006, is the backbone for both academic and research activities at the university. It has become the leading academic library in the region. The library currently houses more than 44,000 items including books, journals, theses and audio-visual materials. It is building the largest collection of scholarly research outputs in the Kurdistan Region. Individuals can access the library catalogue from anywhere in the world through the internet.
American Corner: Through collaboration with the U.S. Department of State American Spaces Program, the library houses the American Corner Erbil and offers a range of activities to the UKH community and the public.
