The Joint International Master Program in Reservoir Management is a two-year dual-degree programme offered by Montanuniversität Leoben (Austria) and the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH) (Iraq). It combines coursework across two institutions and regions, with the first year at Montanuniversität Leoben and the second at the University of Kurdistan Hewler. The programme culminates in a jointly supervised research thesis, providing students with advanced reservoir management and petroleum engineering skills. By integrating European and Middle Eastern perspectives, the programme prepares graduates for global energy challenges and careers in the international energy sector.

Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a field relevant to the programme: Petroleum Engineering, etc
  • BSc Average – minimum of 70%
  • Language Proficiency: English Language Requirement • IELTS – 6.0 • iBT-TOEFL – 80 • English native speakers or graduated from a degree programme with English as the language of instruction are exempt from this requirement.

  • University transcript and Official Certificate for English Test
