UKH Hosts White Coat Ceremony, Welcoming 228 Future Healthcare Professionals

The University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH) proudly celebrated its White Coat Ceremony today, marking a significant milestone in the academic and professional journey of its medical and health sciences students. This symbolic event represents the transition of students into the clinical phase of their education, reaffirming their commitment to professionalism, compassion, and ethical practice.

This year, 228 students were honoured during the ceremony, including:

  • 151 Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) students
  • 31 Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) students
  • 46 Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy students

The White Coat Ceremony is an important tradition that highlights the students’ dedication to becoming trusted healthcare providers in the region. It also reflects UKH’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence, professional training, and the development of future leaders in healthcare.
