Wrya M. Ali Monnet
With one year of postdoctoral research experience and ten years of working experience in technological companies in France; six years of which as an R&D Engineer in audio signal processing and home automation systems, then four years in real time embedded systems development for avionic navigation systems, Dr. Monnet joined the University of Kurdistan Hewler (UKH) in 2012 to teach computer engineering.
Dr. Wrya Monnet obtained a DEA from INP-ENSEEIHT, Toulouse, France followed by a PhD in signal processing from University of Nice Sophia Antipolis in France. Before, going to France, he obtained MSc in Electronics and Telecommunications from University of Technology in Baghdad. Afterwards, he worked as assistant lecturer in the College of Engineering, Electrical Engineering Department in the University of Salahaddin in Erbil from 1992 until 1995.
Monnet is interested in applied research in Embedded Systems used in industry, signal processing in different areas: biomedical, audio, telecommunications, navigation and connected information systems and the fusion of their data.
