Assistant Professor in Electronic Systems Engineering
Introduction
Wrya Monnet is a faculty member of the CSE department at the University of Kurdistan Hewler, Iraq since 2012. He has 25 years of experience in industry and academia. He did his Ph.D and post-doctoral research at University of Cote d’Azur and at Telecom SudParis, France. He worked as an R&D and developer in embedded systems for 10 years in technological companies in France. He taught a wide range of subjects to undergraduate and graduate students in the department. These subjects include but not limited to, Digital Signal Processing, Embedded Systems, Real time Embedded Systems, Programable Devices, Computer Architecture, Cloud systems etc. He recently obtained the fellowship member of Higher Education Academy (FHEA).

Research
His domains of research are oriented towards Biomedical Signal Processing, Embedded Systems applications in Signal Processing, Wireless Sensor Networks, CPS, IoT and Tactile Internet. He has more than 25 publications in areas such as Signal Processing, Tactile Internet, Embedded System applications and in education methods. His current work is specifically in CPS which is a multidisciplinary research area that encompasses most of his skills and knowledge.
