Dr Samuel Porter is a Lecturer in Family Medicine at the School of Medicine – University of Kurdistan – Hewler. He has been teaching at the university since 2023, both in the clinic and the classroom. Originally from Australia, he moved to Iraqi Kurdistan in 2019, and is committed to humanitarian medicine, primary care, and educating the next generation of patient-centered doctors in the Kurdish region.
