Namir Al-Tawil is a Professor of Public Health at the Institute of Public Health, School of Medicine, UKH. He joined the school on Jan 4, 2026. He worked for eight years as a Lecturer and Assistant Professor (1998-2006) at Al-Nahrain College of Medicine, Baghdad, and for 19 years as an Assistant Professor and Professor at the College of Medicine, Hawler Medical University.
