Israa is an Assistant Lecturer in the Computer Science and Engineering department at the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH). Her journey at UKH began in October 2022 when she joined as an Adjunct Laboratory Assistant, subsequently becoming a full-time staff member in October 2023. Before joining UKH, Israa dedicated five years to her role as a Research Assistant, where she contributed to various aspects of academic life. Israa’s journey has exposed her to a diverse range of courses, spanning from Computer Programming and Object-oriented Programming to Web Technologies, Data Structures and Algorithms, Database Systems Concepts, Embedded Systems, Digital Logic Design, Digital Signal Processing, and Mobile Applications. Driven by an unwavering passion for teaching and innovative education, she is deeply committed to shaping the next generation of Computer Science and Engineering professionals through hands-on experience and quality research.

Research
Israa's area of research interest encompasses three key domains which are Tactile Internet and Haptic Transmission, Embedded Systems, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Having made a publication in the Tactile Internet field, she remains deeply committed to furthering her contributions to this area of study.
